Pray for David and for Gary
David has started his surgery rotation and is finding it rough. He has to get up at 4am--that in itself would make it rough! He gets one day off per week. He feels like he doesn't have a clue what he is doing, so pray he will catch on quickly and be able to get the explanations he needs from the doctors and older med students.
Gary is in California for Linguistic Society of America meetings. There is a session tomorrow at 2-5pm about "Linguists and Missionaries" that could be, shall we say, interesting. Pray he and others will have God's grace and wisdom as they participate in discussions.

Hello Linda and family,
I came across your comment on Sep 2006 in the old discussion forum of the To'abaita blog including the comment of Joe Inomae on the wonderful pics of Andrew with two kids at Fo'ondo Village.
Yes, To'abaita students in Fiji have established a volunteer group in late 2005 with an aim to assist our poor rural communities in North Malaita. We have already implemented some initiatives since then. Just for your information, our new and active website now is http://toabaita-authority.blogspot.com and I am the founding Chairman of that student volunteer group. The old site which is http://toabaita.blogspot.com is no longer used.
To keep you updated on what is happening in the To'abaita region, please email us at tar_development@yahoo.com so that we can include you in our email list.
thanks and it's unique that you are using a To'abaita word "thainamu" in your postings.
regards,
Exsley Taloiburi
TARD Founding Chairman
