Grandma applied sealer, then they painted the room with matching paint--thanks to the handy-dandy computer at the hardware store. How does it do that? The room looks great, even if it is just the lowly laundry room.

Oh I know. I know!!
First you calibrate the scanner by showing it real white and real black.
After that the machine knows all the differences between the colortones that come between black and white and surches for the receipy to make the right paint. (Sorry, my daily language is not English. I do use it a lot but when it comes to technical things it is a bit hard to explaine)
